Learn Photography

I am available for private or small group lessons in the Seattle area.

In addition to nearly 20 years of photographic experience, I hold a BFA in photography from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a teaching certificate with Visual Arts endorsement. I have taught photography in classrooms and extracurricular programs.

Topics we can cover in lessons include:

• Learning to use your DSLR

• Manual controls: what they are, what they mean, how they relate, and how to use them to make visual choices in your photographs

• Shooting in RAW

• Using your photo editing software
